100 N. Tampa Office Building
Problem:
After only 8 short years, a vertical turbine booster system became operationally unreliable and very costly to repair. Rather than continue to throw "good money after bad" the building owner decided to replace the entire constant speed system with an updated variable speed version. As you can see by the photo, the system is nearly impossible to service as the electronic controller dominates the front service area and the system is mounted against a wall in the background.
Solution:
$28,138.00 AVERAGE ANNUAL SAVINGS
A quad pump QuietFlow was recommended to replace the old turbine technology. As you can see by the photograph, the system is far easier to service requiring isolation at the butterfly valve and the removal of (2) groove couplings. This system provides, not only reliable and pulse-free pressure maintenance, but it also saved the owner over $2000 per month in electrical consumption versus constant speed.
